Our seven chakras are energy centres along the spine, each sitting on a plexus of nerves. The word chakra means wheel. Together they keep our physical, mental and spiritual sides in balance. The system is the same in every person; what differs is how we use it.

Each chakra is ruled by a planet and carries that planet's nature. Your birth chart shows how the planets stood at your first breath, so it also shows which chakras are naturally strong in you and which need care. In this sense we are a small universe: the solar system is reflected within us.

  • Mooladhara (base of the spine), Mars Innocence, purity, childlike joy, wisdom and a clear sense of direction. It is weakened by extremes. Keep life simple and clean, and spend time on the earth.
  • Swadhisthan (lower abdomen), Mercury Creativity, a sense of beauty, attention and practical intelligence. Overthinking drains it and can make us restless or quick to anger. Think less and observe more.
  • Nabhi (navel), Jupiter Satisfaction, peace, generosity and balance. Like a house with two doors, wealth comes in through one and flows out through the other. Contentment and giving keep it strong.
  • Heart (centre of the chest), Venus Pure love, compassion, security and confidence. Our spirit lives in the heart. Kindness and gratitude open it; fear and worry close it.
  • Vishuddhi (throat), Saturn Feeling part of the whole, a kind voice, detachment and the power to tell right from wrong. When Saturn tests us, this centre helps us watch life calmly, like a play.
  • Agnya (forehead), Sun Forgiveness, humility and freedom from ego. Vanity blocks it. Forgiving sincerely and looking at the sky and nature help clear it.
  • Sahasrara (top of the head), Moon The integration of all the chakras, a calm mind and a connection with the universal energy. In silence we feel like a drop merging into the ocean.

Why it matters in a difficult period. When a planet is under strain in your chart, for example during a hard planetary period or Sade Sati, the chakra it rules often feels it first. Quiet daily meditation with attention on that chakra brings calm and clarity while the period runs its course. That is why the AI may suggest a simple meditation when your chart shows a very active phase.

A simple daily practice. Sit comfortably for 10 to 15 minutes with your spine straight and your phone away. Breathe slowly. Bring your attention to the chakra linked with the planet that troubles you and feel its quality, then rest your attention at the top of your head in silence. Let thoughts pass without following them. Doing it every day matters more than doing it for long. It is free and needs nothing but you.

AI astrology

What is AI astrology, and how accurate is it?

Read article

An AI astrologer is only as good as two things: the accuracy of the chart it reads, and the method it follows. AI by S.K. Kaushik calculates your chart to the arc-second, to professional standards.

It then reads your chart with S.K. Kaushik's private method, built from his research on more than 1,000 charts, and tells you how confident it is in each answer.

Astrology shows tendencies and timing, not certainties. The most useful way to use AI astrology is to ask specific questions, give honest details, and treat the dates as windows to plan around.

Marriage

When will I get married? What astrology looks at

Read article

Marriage timing is the most common astrology question. A birth chart shows whether marriage is indicated, what may delay it, and the phases of life when it is most likely.

Timing comes from your own planetary periods and the movement of the planets after your birth. That is why two people with the same Moon sign can marry years apart.

Your current situation matters too: whether you are single, engaged or already married changes the question. That is why the AI asks before it predicts.

Kundli

Free kundli: what your birth chart shows

A kundli (janam kundli or birth chart) is a map of the sky at the moment you were born. It shows the rising sign (lagna), the sign and nakshatra of the Moon, the house each planet occupies, and the planetary period you are running.

Our free kundli also shows your life-period timeline, the dates of your Sade Sati and whether Mars creates a Manglik condition, all calculated to the arc-second for your exact place of birth.

A birth chart describes potential; timing comes from the periods and transits. To understand what your kundli says about a specific question, ask the AI astrologer.

KP & Vedic

KP or Vedic: which one answers your question?

Read article

Vedic astrology reads your whole chart: the strength of each planet, special combinations, and the planetary period you are running. It is the best way to see the broad shape of your life, such as which career suits you and when major phases begin.

KP astrology, developed by Prof. K.S. Krishnamurti, uses a finer division of the zodiac to judge specific events.

That makes it sharp for specific questions: will I get this job, will this property deal close, will the visa come this year.

Horary

No birth time? KP horary astrology can still answer

Read article

Many people don't know their exact birth time, or the time on record is rounded. In horary astrology, you think of one clear question and choose a number from 1 to 249.

The number sets up a chart cast for that moment, and that chart is read for your question.

It works best for one focused, sincere question asked once. It gives a reliable answer when the birth time is uncertain.

Planetary periods

Understanding your planetary period

Read article

Vedic astrology divides life into a 120-year cycle of planetary periods, starting from the planet that ruled the Moon's position when you were born. The free birth chart tool above shows which main period and sub-period you are in right now.

The main period's planet sets the theme of a long phase of life, and the sub-period turns that theme into specific events. What a period gives depends on which houses the planet rules and where it sits in your chart.

So a Saturn period can bring steady career growth for one person and delays for another. A reading combines this with current transits to tell you what your present phase is asking of you.
